first, procure a super huge bag of lays potato chips.  Regular flavor with extra salt works best.  Also obtain a American car from before 1968.  Place the bag of chips on a road and drive SLOWLY over it eight or ten times.  Shake the chip fragments out of the bag onto a fresh sheet of typing paper.  Now, take a picture of what you have, slightly out of focus, and scan it in.  There you have it...a nifty web page background.
